MetroCom Corporation - Qualifications

MetroCom has a qualified staff of engineers and technicians, trained in various technologies and equipment. We design and construct systems that economically and reliably support any voice, data or video communications needs. Our staff includes several BICSI technicians and installers, a Microsoft Certified Professional, one BICSI registered communications distribution designer and a professional engineer, licensed in several states. MetroCom installers are certified by Ortronics, Interlink, Belden and Superior Modular Products, for fiber optic and copper cable, including category 5, systems. The general manager has nearly ten years experience successfully completing major transit signaling and communications projects to the full satisfaction of the owner/operators. The company president has over thirty years of industry experience as a manufacturer, consultant and integrator.

Our test equipment includes oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, TDRs, optical intensity meters, various specialized and standard test meters, and a full line of video test equipment. Construction equipment includes utility vehicles, specialized lifting and cable pulling equipment, core drilling and excavation/trenching equipment, and a seven-ton enclosed van.
